Plus, that would be a lot to ask for right? It DOES taste like a candy bar though. However, this Fit Crunch Bar doesn’t exactly taste like a Snickers bar, but I wasn’t expecting that anyway. Apparently they were discontinued from many physical stores, which is why I haven’t had one in so long. I wasn’t even sure if they still existed, so I just checked them out on Amazon, and it’s funny cause immediately I’m seeing reviews of people comparing Detour to Snickers bars. However, Detour bars tasted exactly like a Snickers bar to me. In fact, this one looked even better on the outside with its swirl of chocolaty colors. When I opened up the package, it reminded me a lot of the Detour bars I used to eat. I’ll admit, I bought it because it looked like a candy bar, just based on the packaging alone. I figure this is probably one of the most important factors you may be looking for.

This Fit Crunch protein bar, I only had once, which was yesterday, and I’m writing this review now, while it’s fresh in my mind. It’s kinda funny cause I feel like most reviews on this site are me raving about some product that I use every single day, like the love affair I have with my Ninja air fryer. Did I love it? Not exactly, but I really liked it. I’m seriously obsessed with this drink cause it literally just tastes like a delicious thick and creamy shake…which, it is.īut yesterday…I did things differently, cause I’ve got this Fit Crunch bar and I told myself I’d write a review on it after I ate it. Normally, I make this amazing protein shake, in which I combine milk, various fruits, like a banana, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, pineapple, peaches, and mango (I’m probably missing something!) along with my favorite whey protein into a blender. I’m not sure if it being baked makes any difference to me, but anyway, I saved it to eat right after my Monday workout. Not that it really matters in the end cause my intention with purchasing this Fit Crunch bar was to get my whey protein in for my post workout, which it clearly says on the packaging that it’s a Whey Protein baked bar.
Plus, it looks more like a real candy bar than Pure Protein bars do. My experience in the past with Pure Protein bars wasn’t the greatest, cause I remember they had a sort of chalky aftertaste, but maybe that’s changed. I was actually debating between getting this one and a Pure Protein bar. I was walking through Walgreens and saw it on the shelf next to Pure Protein, Quest, and a variety of other protein bars. Actually, I finally invested in a treadmill last night so I’m no longer gonna be a weirdo store aisle walker just cause it’s freezing outside.īut back to this Fit Crunch bar. I was walking through the giant Walgreens down the street from me, getting some of my steps in for the day. This Fit Crunch Bars review comes from a guy who just discovered the product last week.
